If you’d like to learn to read music, understand some theory as well as play beautiful music with good technique this is the course for you. It’s the perfect flexible way to start your piano journey. Learn in your own time using videos accessed online and then practice for as long as you like before moving on to the next lesson. You set your own pace.

By the end of the course you will have learnt a good repertoire of well-known classical music as well as original compositions, playing in various keys, using both hands simultaneously, using the sustain pedal and playing with beautiful tone and expression. You’ll have the skills to pick up and read other sheet music that you want to learn too, so you can take your playing in whatever direction you want to – playing pop, jazz, film music and more.

Around 4 hours of recorded material split into 8 lessons. With practice time between, the course might take you 8 weeks, it might take you six months or more. Everybody is different so there’s no right or wrong! Print-at-home resources are downloadable upon purchase. Use these alongside watching the videos – preferably on a tablet or laptop-sized screen rather than a phone, whilst at the piano.
