Beethoven’s 9th Symphony Main Theme
This version of the well-known theme from Beethoven’s 9th Symphony is a great simple piano piece for older learners. It keeps hands in a five-finger position and involves mainly stepwise movement. The left hand has two note chords.
French Child’s Song
Conversely this resource is actually great for older learners in the early stages I have found. The original is an octave higher with both hands using the treble clef but this version I have made uses a bass and a treble which beginners will be more familiar with probably. It almost stays in a 5-finger position but is a good introduction to stretching that a bit.
Frere Jacques
Another simple well-known tune to play on the piano. It will build hands-together co-ordination and reading skills. A slight stretch from a five-finger position is needed once again.
